Interests, hobbies & work

Why think about interests, hobbies & work?

They are likely to be the things that set you apart from other candidates for the job / college course

Like what?

Things like school sports teams / clubs, part time work, scouts, guides, sports clubs,, football teams, interests, hobbies, Duke of Edinburgh, volunteering, working with family army cadets & sea cadets

I already do plenty

Splendid, note down all the things you do and how they could help with work e.g. working in a team, independent working etc. Also, think about getting a reference from someone who runs the activity.

I only play games consoles

It's not too late, get out there into the world and do something you can talk about with future interviewers
