Hands-on classroom based training

KMT believe that the most effective way to train to teach is to spend the maximum time possible in the classroom with an experienced practitioner.

Trainees benefit from valuable classroom experience and be able to participate as an active member of the school community from day one. It’s proven and successful process that helps many towards a long and rewarding career.

Mentoring and support

An Associate Teacher at KMT receives continuous support during their training year. Teaching progress is observed and trainees receive guidance from Mentors, Professional Tutors and the KMT hub team.

Throughout their training trainees are supported and assessed as they progress towards Qualified Teacher Status, often referred to as QTS. Partner schools

Every KMT partner school has its own distinctive ethos and aims.

Trainees at KMT come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience – be it recent graduates from university or experienced professionals looking for a change. All trainees receive regular guidance and support to help them progress through the course while benefiting from a bespoke trainee teacher platform and our comprehensive resource library.
