What Next - Your Options at 16 directory

Year 11 is a key time for students to make decisions on what they what to do next. The choices and range of pathways available to them are now greater and more varied than ever before.

To support them in this important decision making process, the local authority have produced a directory for all Year 11 pupils to provide them with the information they need in order to understand the range of local opportunities available at 16 in education, training or employment with training .

Y11 pupils will also be able to access the directory via the Connexions website (http://www.connexions360.org.uk) which is a website for all young people in East Sussex aged 11-19 (Up to 25 for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities), which provides information and advice about learning opportunities, services and activities across East Sussex.

We are currently developing the site as a communication hub for young people to support them in making positive steps towards their future, with social media applications, including our new 360 Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/connexions360) and Twitter feeds to ensure that young people are kept up to date with the wide range of education and training opportunities across East Sussex.

We will involve young people in writing content for the website and Facebook page, as well as developing ideas to engage users by promoting user generated content, competitions, giveaways, opinion polls and local event promotions
