Most young people returned to school full time at the start of the autumn term 2020. Despite this, there is still a risk of localised outbreaks of COVID19 or of small numbers of individual pupils being unable to attend school. Despite the challenges, remote education has made a significant contribution to enabling students to continue to learn and progress.

Remote Education

Where a class, group or small number of young people need to self-isolate, or there are local or national restrictions requiring them to remain at home, we will provide immediate remote education.

Remote Education Statement

Laptops

During any self-isolation or school closure, we can assist some young people with a laptop or tablet to help them access remote education. We try to make as much of our material as ‘mobile phone friendly’ as possible but if you are having difficulty please get in touch.

Free School Meals

During any self-isolation or school closure, we can help those families in receipt of benefit-related free school meals with food parcels. Families can use these parcels to help prepare healthy lunches for their child whilst at home. If you feel you would benefit from a food parcel please get in touch.

The eligibility criteria for free school meals can be found at apply for free school meals.
